On the occasion of the International Day of Sand and Dust Storms, Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori issued a special message, warning that dust storms pose a severe threat not only to human health but also to the ecological balance of the environment.
He reaffirmed the province’s commitment to the vision of “Clean Air, Green Sindh,” highlighting that thousands of trees have already been planted under the Governor’s “Plant a
Tree” initiative — a step aimed at safeguarding the environment through practical action. Governor Tessori emphasized that tackling environmental challenges requires the collective efforts of state institutions, environmental experts, and the public. “This is not just the government’s responsibility — it’s a shared duty,” he said.
