The federal government has made a decision on pension reforms to control the surging bill, following the recommendations from the Pay and Pension Committee.
The proposed reforms suggest that federal government employees will be entitled to a total pension based on 70% of the last 36 months of service prior to retirement.
Any increase in pension during retirement will be granted on the pension determined at the time of retirement.
