All entry and exit points and Chowk of city will be renovated to plant flowers and saplings for flouting positive image of the city. This was stated by the Deputy Commissioner Umer Farooq Warriach while visiting Karam Ullulh Chowk. He said that attractive model have been installed in the Karam Ullah Chowk while saplings and flowers have also been planted at the Chowk which was reflecting pleasant image of the area.
He said that construction work on renovation and beautification all Chowk of the city would be started soon. He appealed the people to look after saplings, flowers and other installations and cooperate with government departments to making the area pollution free and attractive.
Meanwhile, DC also visited flour distribution points and reviewed process of distribution of free flour among deserving people. On the occasion, he said that more than 275000 bags of 10 kg flour have been distributed among registered families in the district so far. He said that flour distribution was underway in peaceful atmosphere in the district.
