ISLAMABAD – The Pakistani government has started registration of intending pilgrims for upcoming Hajj 2026.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs, the registration process for Hajj pilgrims will continue until July 9, and there will be no fee for registration.
The ministry stated that for Hajj 2026, early registration is mandatory for both government and private schemes, and overseas Pakistanis are also required to register.
Only those applicants who complete the registration process will be considered eligible for Hajj 2026. Registration can be done at 15 authorized banks across the country.
After registration, pilgrims will have the option to choose between the government or private Hajj schemes.
The ministry added that registration is also mandatory for those who missed Hajj this year under the private scheme.
The expenses and other terms and conditions for Hajj 2026 will be issued separately according to the Hajj policy.
It further stated that registration is being carried out on the directive of Saudi Arabia. The data from the registration process will be shared with the Saudi government, which will allocate the Hajj quota based on these figures.
