LAHORE – Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf has been ruled out of the USA’s Major League Cricket due to injury.
Team San Francisco Unicorns confirmed that Haris Rauf has suffered a hamstring injury. It stated that the pacer will not be able to participate in the remaining matches of Major League Cricket due to the injury.
New Zealand’s Ben Lister has been immediately added to the squad as a replacement for Rauf.
While representing the San Francisco Unicorns in Major League Cricket 2025, Haris Rauf was the leading wicket-taker of the tournament. He took 17 wickets in 8 matches.
Due to the injury, Haris Rauf’s participation in the upcoming series against Bangladesh is also in doubt.
There are currently no chances of Haris Rauf’s immediate inclusion in the Pakistan national team. He is confirmed to miss at least the Bangladesh series.
However, no official announcement has been made by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in this regard.
It is recalled that the national team’s training camp for the Bangladesh tour will start on July 8 at the National Stadium Karachi.
The national team will depart for Bangladesh on July 16, and the three-match T20I series between the two sides will begin on July 20.
