The brother of a lower court judge’s reader was injured in Bannu after unidentified persons threw a hand grenade on their house, also damaging the structure in the attack on Friday.
According to details, the house, which was attacked in the Township area, belongs to Sakeenullah Dawar – the reader of additional sessions judge North Waziristan. However, it was his brother Yasir who received wounds.
In this connection, police say the attackers managed to flee the scene after lobbing the hand grenade at the house on Thursday night, adding that they had registered a case against unidentified terrorists.—INP
