ISLAMABAD – Toyota Indus motors registered a significant increase in sale of its two top variants – Corolla and Yaris – in first 11 months of the outgoing fiscal year 2024-25, according to Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA).
The association said the sales of Toyota Corolla and Yaris cars moved up by 59.19 percent as it surged to 22,310 units during July 2024-May 2024 from 14,014 units in same period of previous fiscal year.
Meanwhile, the overall sale of cars during the first eleven months increased by 32.10 percent compared to the same months of last year.
Statistics shows as many as 94,388 cars were sold during the months under review as opposed to 71,451 units in the same months of last year.
The data further showed that 14,904 units of Honda Civic and City were sold during July-May 2024-25 compared to the sale of 10,519 units in previous fiscal year.
Suzuki Swift’s sales also registered an increase of 58.90 percent as its sales moved up from 4,628 units to 7,354 units this year.
However, sales of Suzuki Cultus dropped to 2,382 units during the period under review, whereas during the same period last year, the sale was recorded at 3,352 units.
Suzuki Alto’s sales witnessed an increase of 17.24 percent from 31,531 units to 36,969 units during the current yea.
