LAHORE – Hyundai Nishat Motors has announced a significant increase in the prices of its vehicles, effective from July 1, 2025, following the approval of the budget for the new fiscal year.
The price hike affects a wide range of models including Porter commercial vehicles, the Elantra Hybrid, Tucson Hybrid variants, Santa Fe Hybrid, and Sonata series. The increase ranges from Rs46,000 to over Rs600,000 depending on the model and variant.
Here is the detailed breakdown of the updated prices:
Porter Series
Porter Deckless: The price has increased from RS 4,299,000 to RS 4,345,000, showing a difference of RS 46,000.
Porter Flat-Deck: The new price is RS 4,365,000, up from RS 4,319,000.
Porter High-Deck: Now priced at RS 4,385,000 compared to its earlier price of RS 4,339,000.
Porter Deckless with AC: Price has gone up from RS 4,409,000 to RS 4,455,000.
Porter Flat-Deck with AC: Previously priced at RS 4,429,000, now available at RS 4,475,000.
Porter High-Deck with AC: The updated price is RS 4,495,000, up from RS 4,449,000.
Elantra Hybrid
The Elantra Hybrid has seen a notable price increase of RS 195,001, with the new price reaching RS 9,895,000, up from RS 9,699,999.
Tucson Hybrid
Tucson Hybrid Smart: Previously priced at RS 10,999,000, the new price stands at RS 11,220,000, an increase of RS 221,000.
Tucson Hybrid Signature: This variant now costs RS 12,240,000, showing a price hike of RS 241,000 from its earlier price of RS 11,999,000.
Santa Fe Hybrid
Santa Fe Hybrid Smart: The price has increased by RS 260,000, now available at RS 13,250,000.
Santa Fe Hybrid Signature: This premium variant has seen a rise of RS 296,000, making the new price RS 14,995,000.
Sonata Series
Sonata 2.0: The base variant now costs RS 10,330,000, which is RS 301,000 more than the previous price of RS 10,029,000.
Sonata 2.5: With an increase of RS 340,000, the new price is RS 11,545,000.
Sonata N Line: This variant has received the highest increase of RS 631,000, bringing its price to RS 16,521,000 from the previous RS 15,890,000.
The increase in prices is attributed to rising production costs, currency devaluation, and import duties.
Car buyers across Pakistan will now have to reconsider their budgets as the cost of owning a Hyundai vehicle has gone up substantially.
