The International Convention of Accountants brought together the global accounting community in order to foster international cooperation among accountants. The theme of this year convention was Environmental, Social, and Governance (ECG) Sustainability. Ms. Asma Resmouki, President International Federation of Accountants IFAC especially came from Morocco to attend the event.
Prominent among others were Mr. CA. Nihar N. Jambusaria, President SAFA, Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala President CMA, Srilanka, Mr. CS Nanda Central Council Member, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, Mr. Ashfaq Yousuf Tola, Minister of State Chairman PRMC, Mr. Maqbool Ahmad Gondal, Controller General of Accounts, Mr. Nadeem ul Haq Vice Chairman PIDE, Mr. Shahzad A.Malik President ICMA, National Council members of ICMA, Branch Council Members of all regions of ICMA, Senior Management of leading banks, corporate sector representatives were present, event was well attended by over 300 delegates. The event was supported by large number of sponsors.
ICMA has played a leading role in uniting the global accounting community from around the world, conference has sent a positive message to the world that accounts & finance professionals of Pakistan are playing a pivotal role in addressing the global economic & business challenges.
