In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday said that Kashmir was first to bear the brunt of Bharatiya Janata Party’s catastrophic unilateral decisions.
Mehbooba Mufti in a series of Tweets, said, “BJP hounding opposition’s most prominent face & criminalising any & all forms of criticism reveals their true designs of establishing a BJP rashtra de-mocracy is being subverted to turn India into a ba-nana republic laws & agencies are being abused to favour one party’s supremacy.”
She further said, “Our last hope lies with the ju-diciary. Tragically we are witnessing the manner in which justice is delayed & how punishment is selec-tively meted out. Courts drag their feet on Article 370, Bilkis Bano & CAA but fast track trivial cases of alleged ‘defamation.”—KMS
