Uncountable and illegal oil agencies, decanting of LPG and use of LPG in public transport could cause any untoward incident in the district while concerned departments are silent on these dangerous business mysteriously.
These views are expressed by Aziz-ur-Rehman and other social workers. They said that a large number of illegal oil agencies and decanting points are working day and night openly but no officer of district administration, civil defense, traffic police and Secretary Road Transport Authority taking action against this illegal and dangerous business.
They said that in the past, many fatal incidents have occurred and precious lives of passengers and people were wasted due to fire eruptions in vehicles due to the use of substandard gas cylinders in the vehicles and as well as oil agencies.
They demanded that Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Sundas Irshad, Commissioner Gujranwala Naveed Haider Sharazi and the Chief Minister of the Punjab to take result-oriented steps to contain dangerous and illegal business of decanting, oil agencies.
