Akhunzada Fazle Haq Mardan
Commissioner Mardan Division Shaukat Ali Yousafzai has said that journalism is the touchstone of the state. The importance of media is undeniable. Journalists highlight social issues through pen and camera. The government will fully cooperate with the media to provide authentic information to the public.
He along with Deputy Commissioner Mardan Muhammad Fayaz Khan Sherpao was talking to media representatives on the occasion of a visit to Mardan Press Club. Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Mardan congratulated the newly elected officials of Press Club Muhammad Bashir Adil President, Faqir Hussain Hoti Vice President, Akhunzada Fazle Haq General Secretary, Parvez Shaheen Finance Secretary and Khurshid Wahab Giant Secretary for their unopposed election. Club President M. Bashir Adil welcomed Commissioner Mardan and Deputy Commissioner on their arrival at the Press Club and apprised them about the problems of the club.
Commissioner Mardan Shaukat Ali Yousafzai said that the Mardan Press Club has its own unique history and the journalists here have made a name for themselves at the national level. He said that the administration is trying to solve the problems faced by the people of Mardan and guidance will be taken from the media in this regard.
He said that he was aware of the problems faced by the Press Club. He instructed Deputy Commissioner Mardan to take necessary steps to solve the problems of the club.
