Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon said that Imran Khan, the biggest liar and hypocrite of Pakistan, is using the new term of political engineering. It is creating a new narrative to mislead the public. Imran Khan has alleged yesterday that through political engineering people are getting calls from different places to join the Pakistan People’s Party, which are completely baseless and false, no kind of political engineering is taking place.
They are neutral now. He said that he is talking about political engineering, who was artificially made into a party by political engineering, and the spoils of different parties were handed over to him and imposed on the country. Imran Khan’s politics was enhanced by political engineering through Lahore Jalsa and in 2018 he was made the prime minister by making the worst rigging. This fact is obvious to the children of the country, these people are talking about political engineering today. For them, drowning is the place of death.
He expressed these views while doing press at Sindh Archives Complex today. He said that Imran Khan’s attempt is to make allegations against institutions every day to affect their reputation. He said that PTI is practically a hollow party, consisting of apolitical and hollow people, who want to run their work by making allegations. He said that the Election Commission of Pakistan has asked the Sindh government to hold local body elections in Karachi and Hyderabad divisions on January 15. The Government of Sindh fully accepts the decision of the Election Commission and will play its full role.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan is their ally, they have tried to resolve all their complaints. However, there are also constitutional institutions in the country. The Sindh government is bound to follow and act on what the constitutional institutions say.
He said that the deployment of rangers and army in local body elections is within the purview of the Election Commission and the Ministry of Interior. He said that a PTI leader has said in a press conference in Karachi today that the local body elections will be bloody, which should be taken seriously. He said that PTI had talked about a bloody long march, which they then demonstrated and now they are talking again that there will be bloody municipal elections in Karachi.
The provincial minister said that God willing, if any such mischief happens in Karachi, this person will be investigated. He said that the Election Commission of Pakistan or anyone else may or may not take notice of this, but the Sindh government will definitely take notice of it. He said that this person had lost in the councilor elections and later became MNA and minister in 2018 general elections through worst rigging. They want to create an atmosphere of fear so that citizens do not come out to vote. What is the planning going on in his mind, maybe they want to spoil the blood on the day of local body elections in Karachi.
Talking about Jamaat-e-Islami, the provincial information minister said that Jamaat-e-Islami boycotted the general elections of 2013 at 2 pm. He has got the post of Mayor of Karachi twice. Tell me one mega project that they have completed. Jamaat-e-Islami introduced Kalashnikov culture in educational institutions of Karachi. They have been stopping people from celebrating cultural events and festivals in educational institutions. Their politics is to forcefully impose on others. They don’t do politics based on their performance, just accusations and hate are the focus of their politics.
