The Supreme Court of India, which always serves as subservient to the Indian government when it comes to Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has refused to stay an order issued by the authorities regarding eviction of locals from their land.
The fascist Indian government and its administration in IIOJK have intensified the ongoing eviction campaign in all districts of the territory to grab the land of Kashmiri Muslims, which has been in their possession for generations. The occupation authorities are snatching the Kashmiris’ land in the name of a so-called anti-encroachment drive. Lakhs of kanals of land of locals in all districts of Kashmir valley and Muslim areas of the Jammu region have been snatched by the BJP regime from the Kashmiris, so far.
Hearing an urgent application on the matter, today, the Indian Supreme Court refused to pass any order to stay a circular issued by the authorities regarding the eviction of the people from their lands.
As per Bar and Bench, Justice Shah said they are not passing any order. “We are not passing any order. You instruct them orally to not demolish any houses. But we will not grant a general stay at all so that others do not get benefit.”—KMS
