NEW DEHLI – In a deeply disturbing incident, Indian tennis player Radhika Yadav was allegedly shot and killed by her father following a domestic dispute over link to her active presence on social media.
The international media reported that 25-year-old Radhika had represented India in several national and international tennis tournaments and was regarded as a promising athlete in the country’s tennis circuit.
The incident occurred at the family’s residence, where only Radhika and her father were present at the time. Police sources revealed that her father allegedly opened fire on her multiple times. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but succumbed to her injuries shortly after.
