LAHORE – Authorities have issued instructions for opening of first year and third year admissions in Punjab before the announcement of matric and intermediate results.

The class 10 exams recently concluded across the province while annual examinations of intermediate will commence in April.

Formal notifications have also been issued to open admissions for first and third years in Punjab before the results.

According to the notification, the purpose of opening admissions before the results is to bring intelligent students to government colleges.

The notification states that admission in First Year will be based on the result of the ninth class, while admission in Third Year will be based on the results of intermediate part-I.
