The two-day International Media Conference entitled as “Roles and Responsibilities of Media and Communication in the Post-Pandemic World” started with a striking opening ceremony at the University of Okara.
This conference is being organized in collaboration with Association of Media & Communication Academic Professionals (AMCAP).
Addressing to the ceremony, Ashifa Riaz Fayana, Minister for Women Development Department Punjab, who was the Chief Guest, told that the Pakistani women played a vital role during the pandemic period. Highlighting the role of the digital media in the modern world, she said, “Smartphone is a tool of fifth generation warfare as it is rapidly affecting and penetrating in the youth.”
She further added that the role of media in the socio-economic development of the Pakistani women could not be overlooked.
