Islamabad Deputy Commissioner’s authority to issue the Maintenance of Public Order was restored on Thursday. The Islamabad High Court restored the Deputy Commissioner’s authority to issue the MPO. A division bench of the high court issued notices to the parties concerned on the appeals of chief commissioner and others against the single bench decision.
