ISLAMABAD – Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and most parts of Pakistan on Sunday night and the next two days.
Isolated rains and windstorms are expected during the period.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country and hot in plain areas on Sunday night. However, partly cloudy weather with rain is likely at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
On Monday and Tuesday, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country and very hot in plain areas. However, partly cloudy weather with rain is likely at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Islamabad’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 34°C and 36°C on Monday and between 33°C and 35°C on Tuesday.
Rawalpindi’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 32°C and 34°C on Monday and between 31°C and 33°C on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, hot and dry weather prevailed in most parts of Pakistan during the last 24 hours. Very hot weather prevailed in the plain areas. Rains and gusty winds occurred in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Pothohar region, northeast Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Jacobabad and Turbat remained the hottest places in Pakistan, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 47°C. The maximum temperature in Dadu was recorded at 46°C, and in Nawabshah and Pasni at 45°C.
In Islamabad, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 31 per cent.
In Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 33°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 32 per cent.
