Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz Friday said judge Arshad Malik’s dismissal from service was the drop scene of an era where certain judges were blackmailed through cronies.
The minister, in a tweet, said the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and its leadership should apologise to the nation for patronising, blackmailing and corruption – the traits of a mafia mindset.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz were responsible for promotion of nepotism and favoritism in different organizations.
He said PTI government is trying to improve the image of national institutions by ensuring merit and capacity building.
Commenting on pilots’ issue, he said those people who found irresponsible have been suspended from the service. He said that steps were being taken to further bring reforms in the system especially in the PIA and other organizations. He said our pilots are well-known all over the world.
Meanwhile, Syed Shibli Faraz in a tweet on Friday said that Judge Arshad Malik’s dismissal from service is the drop scene of an era where certain judges were black mailed through cronies.
He said that PML-N and its leadership should apologise to the nation for patronising blackmailing and corruption, and traits of mafioso mindset.
He also expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in train accident in Sheikhupura and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the grieved families of Sikh Yatris over the loss of precious lives. He prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
