KARACHI – Amid rapid growth of Pakistan’s real estate market, particularly in the country’s largest city Karachi, as number of unauthorized and illegal housing schemes has also seen an alarming rise, with masses urged to exercise caution before investing their hard-earned money in real estate projects.
Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) issueda reminder that no housing project can be termed legal unless it has been granted formal planning and development permission. Unauthorized societies often operate without essential infrastructure, utility approvals, or proper town planning, putting investors at serious financial and legal risk.
