KARACHI – More rains and gusty winds are expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh on Sunday evening/night.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), moist currents from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal penetrate most parts of Pakistan, which will strengthen in the upper parts from tonight. A westerly wave will also affect the upper parts of the country from tonight.
Under these weather conditions, more rains and gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Hyderabad, Karachi, Badin, Tharparkar, Sanghar, Umerkot, Khairpur and surroundings on Sunday evening/night.
On Monday and Tuesday, mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most districts of the province.
Karachi’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 30°C and 32°C on Monday and between 31°C and 33°C on Tuesday.
Hyderabad’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 34°C and 36°C on Monday and between 35°C and 37°C on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, rains and gusty winds with isolated heavy falls occurred in Karachi and parts of Sindh during the last 24 hours.

Mohenjo-Daro and Jacobabad remained the hottest places in Sindh, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 43°C.
In Karachi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 30°C. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 85 per cent.
In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35°C. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 85 per cent.
