KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast the prevailing cold and dry weather to persist in Karachi, Hyderabad and most districts of Sindh during the next two days.
As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails in most parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh on Sunday evening/night, Monday and Tuesday.
In Karachi, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 15-17 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday.
In Hyderabad, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 13-15 C on Monday and Tuesday.
Dense fog/smog is likely to persist in Jacobabad, Hyderabad, Mohenjo-Daro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki, Khairpur, Kashmore and Padidan during morning and night hours.
Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed in Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh during the last 24 hours.
Cold waves and dense fog/smog prevailed in the upper districts
Mohenjo-Daro remained the coldest place in Sindh where the mercury dropped to 06 C.
Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 93 per cent.
In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 15 C.
Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 79 per cent.
In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 13 C.
Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 62 per cent.
Dense fog/smog disrupted traffic on inter and intra-city roads.
