PESHAWAR – The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday declared Winter holidays for all government and private schools, starting December 22, 2024.
In response to ongoing cold weather and recent snowfall that impacted northwestern parts of country, the KP Elementary and Secondary Education Department has revised the school holiday schedule.
Under new plan, schools in summer zone (including plain areas) will remain closed from December 22 to December 31, with classes set to resume on New Near. Meanwhile the schools in winter/hilly zone will remain closed from December 22, 2024 to February 28, 2025.
