PESHAWAR – The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has extended Spring Holidays in schools and other educational institutions on account of Eidul Fitr holidays.

With the additional holidays, schools in Peshawar and other cities in KP will reopen on April 15th (Monday).

In this regard, the Elementary and Higher Education Department issued notifications directing all government and private schools to extend the Eid holidays.

The spring holidays started on April 1, and were supposed to end on April 8, but the spring break was extended ahead of the start of the new academic year.

The new academic year was extended as the government needed time to provide free textbooks to students.
