University of Karachi (KU) has joined forces with the Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) of Gulshan-e-Iqbal to improve road infrastructure, a move set to benefit students, faculty, and staff alike. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed recently, establishing a collaborative framework aimed at enhancing accessibility and safety within the university vicinity. Under the agreement, TMC Gulshan will take the lead in carpeting the road in front of the KU Department of Genetics, which will facilitate easier and safer access for the university community. Additionally, the TMC will assist in the installation and maintenance of lighting along the route connecting the KU Department of Biotechnology to the Department of Agriculture and Agribusiness Management, significantly improving visibility in this area.
