Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday again offered olive branch to Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur inviting him to sit together to strive for achieving the rights of the province.
“I invite Chief Minister Gandapur to the governor house Peshawar to waging a joint struggle in seeking the due rights of the KP from the center. If he is reluctant or feel embarrassed to visit Governor house, even I can go to meet him in the larger interest of the province and welfare of the masses”. Kundi declared while addressing a public rally in Malakand division.
The war of worlds between the two bigs of the province, it may be recalled, had started after the CM KP Amin Gandpur, had announced to ban entry of the Governor as well as PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto to the Governor house amid talks of imposition of Governor’s Rule in the province
Kundi said he wanted to play a role in bridging the gap between the centre and province adding “We are ready to join hands with the provincial government for the sake of the masses,”.Kundi said he would raise his voice on every platform for the sake of KP.
The Governor, however said the provincial government will have no solution to the problem by taking control of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco). He was referring to Gandapur announcement to take control of WAPDA offices in KP if the unscheduled and unannounced load shedding wasn’t stopped forthwith.
Kundi said he was well aware of the deprivations of Malakand division and was determined to mitigate the sufferings of the people in collaboration with the Gandapur led KP government.
While lementing there was no vice-chancellors in 20 of the universities in KP that was adding to deteriorating the educational standard, Kundi said he was ready to wage joint struggle with the provincial leadership for bringing improvement in every field.
