An intermediate student named Musharraf was shot dead by an unknown person in Chandrai of KotLakhpat area. ASP Rizwana Malik said the victim was identified as 18-year-old Musharraf. Police officials said the victim was shot dead while he was returning from the academy. Police collected evidence from the incident site and shifted the body of the deceased to the mortuary for post-mortem. ASP Rizwana Malik claimed that the incident seems like an old enmity case while further investigation is underway.—APP
