Prices of all Suzuki models go up post Budget 2025 and Swift also saw noticeable surge, putting pressure on car buyers. What was once considered decent looking hatchback car is gradually slipping out of reach for many.
Suzuki revised the prices of its popular Swift hatchback lineup, resulting in updated 5-year (60-month) installment plans under its leasing options. The increase, which affects all three major variants Swift GL Manual, GL CVT, and GLX CVT has led to changes in both monthly installment amounts and upfront payments.

The government introduced a new NEV (New Enhanced Value) Levy, and Suzuki updated Swift lineup price. All three Swift variants have become more expensive: Swift GL MT now carries a price tag of Rs. 4,460,160, up from Rs. 4,416,000, showing an increase of Rs. 44,160. The Swift GL CVT has risen to Rs. 4,605,600 from Rs. 4,560,000, marking a Rs. 45,600 hike.
The top-tier Swift GLX CVT now costs Rs. 4,766,190, compared to its previous price of Rs. 4,719,000, reflecting an increase of Rs. 47,190. These upward adjustments are a direct result of increased taxation, which has raised the overall operational costs for automakers. Suzuki, like other manufacturers, has passed this burden onto consumers.
With rising car prices across the market, the updated installment plans provide a structured payment option for those looking to own a Suzuki Swift with manageable monthly payments. The plans include takaful and rental charges, and require a 30% security deposit, making them accessible for salaried professionals and first-time car buyers.
