Eidul Fitr 2024 holidays for schools– The last and third Ashra of the holy month of Ramadan 2024 is all set to begin from Monday (April 1) with people eagerly waiting for the festival of Eidul Fitr.

Federal and provincial governments used to announce public holidays for schools and all other sectors so students and other people can enjoy the festival with zeal and zest.

It is anticipated that there would be 29 days Ramadan this year and Eid is likely to fall on April 10 (Wednesday). Amid all this anticipation, students are waiting for the official notification for the Eid holidays as the government is yet to issue it.

Expected Eid Holidays for schools in Punjab

Like other provinces, the Punjab government is yet to issue an official notification for Eid holidays. It is being expected that schools would observe six holidays from April 9 to 14 if Eid falls on April 10.

If the Eidul Fitr 2024 falls on April 11, the schools in Punjab are expected to observe five holidays from April 10 to 14, with schools resuming the classes from April 15.

The final decision about Eidul Fitr will be taken by the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee after the Shawal moon sighting.
