The LCBDDA kicked off a plantation drive at “Lahore Prime”; a project by Lahore Central Business District Development Authority.
During this plantation drive over 5,000 saplings will be planted at Lahore Prime site to support Prime Minister’s initiative of “Plant for Pakistan”.
DG NLC, Maj-Gen Yousaf Jamal and CEO LCBDDA Imran Amin, inaugurated the campaign by planting a sapling at the site.
Talking on the occasion, Imran Amin said: “We are fully aware of the adverse effects of deforestation on climate change. Therefore, we are committed to maintain the ecological balance of CBD Punjab Construction site and promote eco-friendly urbanism in Lahore and Pakistan.”
