LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Tuesday demolished four buildings in Lahore for violation of building bylaws. The LDA carried out demolition operation in Fazlia Colony, Aalia Colony and on Main Ferozepur Road.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the demolition operation.
Director Town Planning-I Ayesha Mutahir supervised the operation which was carried out with the help of heavy machinery, enforcement teams and Police. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
