LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Monday continued operation against violation of building bylaws and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
LDA teams demolished six illegal buildings besides sealing one during an operation in Johar Town, UET Society, Military accounts Society and Nespak housing Scheme. As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before demolition operation.
Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali carried out the operation with the help of enforcement teams, Police and heavy machinery. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
