List of illegal private housing schemes in Islamabad – November 2024

ISLAMABAD – The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is empowered to regular planning and development of private housing societies in capital city of Islamabad.

Two tier approvals of such schemes are granted by authority. In the first step Layout Plans (LOP) are approved then on completion of subsequent formalities, the No Objection Certificates (NOC) for development of schemes is issued.

It is mandatory for sponsors to obtain NOC from the competent authority start development work and sale of plots.

However, it has come into the notice of the authority that plots are being sold/marketed in various illegal housing schemes without obtaining any NOC from CDA.

The authority has shared the list of illegal housing schemes on its official website in order to protect people from fraudulent activities.

List of Illegal Housing Societies in Islamabad

Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) has been divided into five zones. Following is the zone-wise list of illegal housing societies:

Zone I

The Zone-1 constitutes Sector up to the existing alignment of the G.T. Road from the point of intersection of G.T. Road with Shahrah-e-Kashmir to the point of the Nicolson Monument inclusive of Sector D-14,D-15, D-16 (Partial) E-14, E-15, H-13, H-14, H-15, E-17.
