LWMC is striving to ensure the best possible cleanliness arrangements in the city during the transition period.
To provide the best cleanliness facilities to the citizens of Lahore LWMC has started the process for the hiring of contractors for primary & secondary collection of waste.
LWMC board of directors approved to procure the additional machinery on an urgent basis.
In this regard, LWMC started the bidding process as per the PPRA rule and published the advertisement in newspapers on March 04, 2021.
The company opened technical bids on and financial bids will be opened on Sunday 07th March, 2021.
Thirteen companies have participated in the bidding process.
5 companies have participated for Ravi Town, 2 for Allah Iqbal Town, 3 for Nishtar Town, 2 for Samnabad, 2 for Shalamar, Gulberg, and Aziz Bhatti Town whereas 8 companies have participated for Wahga Town.
Furthermore, CEO called an urgent meeting of the management procurement committee for the technical evaluation and he stated that the transparent method shall be ensured during technical evaluation as well as in financial evaluation.
Financial bids, only of those companies will be opened who will qualify based on technical specifications.
