The portfolios of several Sindh cabinet ministers have been changed in a major reshuffle on Monday.
Saeed Ghani, who was acting as the Information Minister for Sindh, has been appointed as the new Education Minister, while he will continue to hold potfolio of Labour and Human Resources. Sindh Minister for Local Bodies Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has been entrusted with additional responsibility as he has replaced Ghani and given the charge of the Information Ministry.
Similarly, Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce and Co-operative and Housing Jam Ikram Dharejo has also been given new duties with in-charge of Enquiries and Anti-Corruption Establishment.
Enquiries and Anti-Corruption Ministry has been taken away from Sohail Anwar Siyal, who wuill now have the portfolios of Irrigation, Zakat, Usher and Auqaf.
It is pertinent to mention that news of possible reshuffling in Sindh Cabinet were airing around the power corridors for last many days. Several reasons, good and bad, were being quoted for these changes in portfolios of some ministers
