A man was shot dead while a woman attempted suicide in two separate incidents in limits of Hazro police station on Wednesday. In first incidnet a man was shot dead over old enmity.
Police sources while quoting eye witnesses have said that Jabir Khan was going towards his village Muraria when two masked men intercepted him and showered bullets over him resultantly he died on the spot. The assailants managed to escape from the scene successfully.
Separately, a 30 years old attempting suicide by consuming acid in her house in Waisa in same police station limits.
Police while quoting the family members of the woman identified as Hajra Bibi has said that the woman was in distress over her marriage issue from last couple of weeks. On Wednesday she went to her room and consumed acid in a bid to commit suicide.
