Mardan Medical Complex (MMC) has achieved another great success in neurosurgery. The MMC Neurosurgery Department has formally launched a state-of-the-art treatment for full endoscopic spine surgery.
MMC has joined these specialized hospitals in the province. Where the treatment of back and sciatica through full endoscopic spine surgery has been introduced.
Participants were briefed on the importance and benefits of endoscopic spine surgery during the inaugural ceremony of the modern treatment of full endoscopic spine surgery and later formal treatment of sciatica patients through endoscopy was formally launched.
The hospital’s first endoscopic spine surgery was performed by German neurosurgeon Dr. Ali Govin, eminent neurosurgeon Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Ali, Assistant Professor Dr. Naeem-ul-Haq, Assistant Professor Dr. Ishaq and other doctors.
On the first day 2 successful endoscopic spine surgeries were performed while today 3 more surgeries will be performed.
Neurosurgeon Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Ali, Prof. Dr. Naeem-ul-Haq and other participants termed the launch of Full Endoscopic Spine Surgery in MMC as a great achievement and said that the introduction of modern treatment is an honor for MMC while Mardan Division and This is no less than a blessing for Malakand Division’s back and other neuro patients.
