In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government has supplied a batch of medicines prepared from cow’s urine to the territory. Srinagar-based news portal The Kashmir Walla reported that a batch of medicines to treat the com-mon cold and stomach ache supplied to AYUSH centres in IIOJK are partly prepared from cow’s urine.
AYUSH is an acronym for Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy and are the six Indian systems of medicine prevalent and practiced in India. The medicine named ‘Sanjeevani Vati’ is pro-duced by Uma Ayurvedics Pvt. Ltd., where the de-scription says that the drug has been processed with cow’s urine. The tablets have been supplied to the AYUSH hospitals in the Valley as a part of its free medicine campaign. The news portal reported that as per the descrip-tion of the medicines, it is processed with ‘Gau Mutra (Cow Urine)’.
A doctor posted at one of the AYUSH hospitals in the Kashmir Valley told The Kashmir Walla that “we have been asked to hold free medical camps and ensure it is distributed among as many people as it is beneficial”.—KMS
