The decision has been made in line with the traditional observance of Muharram, and Ashura, the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions in Karbala, which is commemorated with mourning processions and religious gatherings across Pakistan.
Authorities have urged the public to maintain peace and cooperate with law enforcement agencies during the Ashura processions to ensure a secure and respectful environment.
