ISLAMABAD – The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has an official fee structure for age modification requests in Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (Smart NICOP), under the PAK ID system.
The facility is offered by the authority to ensure accuracy in personal records while discouraging repeated changes to sensitive identity information.
What is the NICOP?
The National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) is issued to Pakistani citizens residing abroad who hold dual nationality with a country that has a dual nationality agreement with Pakistan.
With a Smart NICOP, holders can travel to Pakistan without requiring a visa.
NICOP Age Modification Fee
Applicants requesting a change in age with a difference of one year or less will be charged $5 USD.
For age differences greater than one year but up to two years, the fee is $25 USD.
A change involving a difference of more than two years and up to three years will incur a fee of $40 USD.
If the age difference is more than three years, applicants will need to pay $65 USD.
In cases where an applicant requests a second modification of their age, a flat fee of $125 USD will apply, regardless of the difference.
Where to Apply
The PAK ID online platform allows overseas Pakistanis to conveniently update personal information, including age corrections, from anywhere in the world. However, authorities continue to urge applicants to ensure accuracy in their initial submissions to avoid higher charges on future modifications.
