Sindh Energy Minister, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, has expressed serious concern over the ongoing gas load-shedding and low-pressure issues in the province, directing the Secretary of Energy to write to the federal government.
On Friday, Naisr Shah highlighted that despite Sindh being the largest producer of natural gas in Pakistan, its citizens are facing severe shortages. Shah emphasized that with the onset of winter, gas load-shedding has intensified, leaving children unable to have breakfast before heading to school, which is impacting their academic performance. He pointed out that this situation is not only an inconvenience but also detrimental to the daily lives of Sindh’s residents.
