LAHORE – The traffic police Lahore launched a crackdown against those driving vehicles without valid license in order to curb road accidents.

Amid this crackdown, the city traffic police have announced a revision in fee for driving licenses of different categories. The new fee structure comes into effect from today (January 16).

The police shared the new fee structure on its X handle.

Motorcycle Driving License January 2024

Previously, the government received Rs550 in wake of fee for motorcycle driving license with five-year validity. Starting from January 16, 2024, citizens of Punjab will have to pay Rs500 every year for the license.

Car, Jeep Driving License Fee Update

Previously, the Punjab government charged Rs950 fee for five-year driving license for car or jeep. Now, it will receive Rs1,800 every year from the citizens.
