After June revision, petrol will now be sold at Rs258.43 per litre, while High-speed diesel will cost Rs262.59 per litre.

The new fuel pricing and levy structure is expected to exert further pressure on inflation and household expenses in the coming months.
Global Oil Prices
Global oil prices moved up after Israel launched airstrikes on Iran, raising fears of supply disruptions from Middle East. Brent crude jumped more than 10% during the day before settling over 7% higher at $74.23 per barrel.

Brent Crude (Intraday Peak) | +10% |
Brent Crude (Closing Price) | $74.23 per barrel |
Projected in Escalation | $80–$100 per barrel (est.) |
Those familiar with development said if conflict escalates, especially with potential damage to Iran’s oil infrastructure or disruption in the Strait of Hormuz, prices could spike further to $80–$100 per barrel. However, any prolonged increase may be tempered if other oil producers boost output.
