During a speech at the Karachi Press Club, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran HasanNourian, during his visit at the Karachi Press Club (KPC) discussed the significance of the Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project and the deep-rooted historical and cultural ties between the two nations. Nourian underscored the importance of bilateral relations, stressing that Pakistan and Iran have supported each other through difficult times.
He expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and highlighted the successful recent visit of the Iranian President to Pakistan, which addressed various economic and cultural matters, including enhancing trade between Gwadar and Chabahar ports. The Consul General HasanNourian emphasized the need to complete the gas pipeline project despite international pressures, noting Iran’s abundance of gas and oil resources. He outlined the project’s history, its significance for both countries, and Pakistan’s commitment to completing it despite delays.
