LAHORE – Students in Punjab, and parts of the country are looking for updates for the November 9 Holiday in accordance with Iqbal Day and now School Education Department shared a new update for students and school administration.
A circular shared by Punjab School Education Department directed all government and private schools to celebrate Iqbal Day on 9th November 2024 with fervor.
Officials outlined a series of activities to highlight legacy of ‘Poet of the East’ which inspires students to engage with his philosophy and poetry. Schools in Lahore and parts of the country are encouraged to organize Poetry Recitation Events.
SED mentioned Speech and Essay Competitions to shed light on Iqbal’s philosophy of Khudi and his role in the creation of Pakistan. Schools are encouraged to organize exhibitions of student artwork inspired by Iqbal’s poetry and vision, offering a creative platform for students to interpret his ideas.
