Eid-ul-Adha, also known as Bakra Eid, is one of the most significant religious events in the Islamic calendar, commemorating willingness of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son in obedience to God’s command. Muslims across the country will mark the occasion with prayers, sacrificial offerings, and communal gatherings.
Government offices, banks, and most private institutions will remain closed during this period. Transport hubs are expected to experience a surge in traffic as people travel to their hometowns to celebrate Eid with loved ones.
With the early confirmation of the holidays, many are already making arrangements for family get-togethers, out-of-city trips, and Eid shopping.
