ABU DHABI – The Pakistan Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strong advised the Pakistani citizens to exercise extreme caution when responding to online job advertisements, offered outside the UAE.
The embassy has shared a warning as fake job offers and deceptive ads continue to top scam reports in the Gulf country.
“Pakistani citizens are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution when responding to online job advertisements, offered outside the UAE,” read the warning shared on Facebook.
Several individuals have recently fallen victim to fraudulent employment schemes abroad, resulting in serious complications, it added.
“Always verify job offers outside UAE through official and trusted sources,” the embassy has urged the Pakistani citizens.
Meanwhile, the UAE authorities used to issue warnings to the people time to time against fake job offers and other fraudulent online schemes.
The authorities said such illegal activities aim to steal personal data or money by luring people with attractive job offers.
They have urged people to verify sources before responding to such job offers and online schemes in order avoid any untoward situation.
