KARACHI – Gold rates witnessed another drop this week as price of bullion per tola plunged to Rs273,200 in the local market.
Data shared by Sarafa Association shows a single-day decline of Rs800 on Friday while the price of 10 grams also dropped to Rs234,225, registering a drop of Rs686.

On Thursday, local gold prices moved up by Rs1,400 per tola to Rs274,000. The international price of yellow metal also experienced a decline on Friday and prices moved down to $2,620 per ounce.
As of Friday, Spot gold dropped by 0.2pc to $2,630.28 per ounce, while US gold futures eased 0.2% to $2,649.
