ISLAMABAD – Arshad Nadeem’s heroic performance and world record started a new chapter for Pakistan sports, and now government of Pakistan decided to name busy street after star athlete.
It has been learnt that a major road in Islamabad’s F-10 sector (From F-10 roundabout to Khayaban-e-Iqbal) will be renamed in honor of Arshad Nadeem – the Olympic hero.
CDA announcement to rename the road comes in light of directives from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif who awarded Rs150 million for remarkable achievement in bringing pride to the nation with his gold medal at the Paris Olympics.
To honor the athlete, the road in F-10 Markaz area will be renamed to provide inspiration by showcasing their perseverance and dedication, encouraging others to pursue their own goals with similar determination.
